Rubin R. Gonzales went home to be with the lord at the young age of 52 on August 16, 2017. Rubin was born September 18, 1964 to Zaragosa “Blacky” and Alicia G. Gonzales of Nampa, Idaho. He married Laura Gonzales, they shared a son Ray Rubin Gonzales. Rubin was a hard dedicated worker; he worked in the agriculture field as a forklift driver at Fruit Farms for 16 years. He met many co-workers that became close friends. On his own time he enjoyed hanging out with his family and friends, he loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Lakers, western movies, and listening to music. He is survived by three sons, Ray Rubin Gonzales, Rubin Jr. Gonzales, and Chance; one grandson; several sisters, Patsy (Roland) Villareal of Texas, Martina (Jimmy) Cabrera of Texas, Rucila Gonzales of Burley, Dianne (Andy) De La Rosa of Burley, Sandra Arroyos Gonzales of Texas, Anna (Mark) Rodriguez of Nampa, Nancy (Brad) Worth of Texas; several brothers, Saragosa Junior Gonzales of Nampa, Gilbert Hoeg Gonzales of Nampa, James (Lisa) Gonzales of Nampa, Berlin Gonzales of Nampa, and Paul (Sheila) Gonzales of Nampa; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; a grandmother, Benita Gonzales; two sisters, Cindy Gonzales and Rosie Gonzales Navejar; a nephew, Mario Gonzales; two nieces, Rebecca Navejar and Vickie Benavides; a brother-in-law, Robert Navejar; a cousin, Malisa Venegas; and also his wife of many years, Laura Gonzales. A viewing will be held 10:00AM until the celebration of life at 12 noon, Friday, August 25, 2017 at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Avenue South, Nampa, Idaho 83651. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
