Bobby Orear

Bobby Gene Orear, 87, loving husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep, at home in Mesa, AZ, on October 31, 2023. He is survived by his three children, Lorrie, Vicki, Robbie, and their families. He was born on May 25, 1936, in Colorado City, Texas to Milton (Red) and Dora Orear. He was almost 18 when he met Betty Blevins and three months later they were married - a true love story that would last 68 years, until her death last year. Their lives were complete when they were surrounded by their children and grandchildren. Bob devoted his life to the Church where he was a full-time preacher for almost 40 years. During those years, they moved to many States including Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and finally, Arizona. His church family was widespread with many close, lifelong friends. His absence in the church will be felt by many. Bob's kind demeanor made him easily approachable and people were naturally drawn to him. He will be deeply missed.
