Gladys April Schafer

Gladys April Schafer, 80, of Nampa, passed away December 28th, 2019. Gladys was born to Kenneth and Thelma Johnson on April 4th 1939 in Gooding, Idaho. She grew up on a farm in Richfield, Idaho. On July 12th, 1963 she married Lewis Schafer in Richfield, Idaho. Gladys and Lewis were married 49 years before she was widowed in 2013. Gladys and Lewis had four children. Kevin, Kellen, Valerie and Kenden. Gladys enjoyed her time raising her children and spent time outside the home working in the printing business. In her younger years Gladys enjoyed hunting and camping with her family. She loved spending time with her family, her children and grandchildren. Gladys had a great sense of humor. She will  be missed, forever loved and always in our hearts. Gladys is survived by her 4 children, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and is reunited in heaven with her loving husband Lewis.
