Julie Irene Austin

Julie Irene Austin (née Perkins), a cherished soul, was called to her eternal rest on March 13, 2024, in Meridian, Idaho, at the age of 75. Born on November 11, 1948, in Los Angeles, California, Julie's life was a testament to the virtues of humility, gratitude, and a profound respect for all of creation.

She is survived by her devoted children Burton Wolf (Kim), Tamra Wolf, and Dawn Caruthers (Bryan); her adoring four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her loving siblings Crystal Dominguez, Sunny Bauman, and Sam Bauman; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews who were blessed by her gentle spirit. Julie was greeted in the Kingdom of Heaven by her son Matthew Wolf, her father Clayton Douglas Perkins, her mother Helen Bird, and her brothers William Perkins and Kirby Barnard, who preceded her in death.

A graduate of Nogales High School in La Puente, California, Julie carried her spirit of diligence into her professional life as a Paste Up Artist at the San Gabriel Valley Tribune and later as a Graphic Designer at Clark Directories. Her work was not merely a job but a calling, where she expressed her creativity and meticulous care in every design.

Her legacy is etched in the hearts of those she touched with her unwavering kindness and the beauty she brought into the world through her art and her soul. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate her life, knowing that she has found peace in the arms of the Divine. We give thanks for the time we were granted with Julie, a true child of God, and pray that her journey is filled with light and love.
