Lawrence Henry Fuller

Lawrence Henry Fuller, of Caldwell, passed away on January 10, 2023 at the age of 77. Lawrence was born August 21, 1945 in Oakland, California to Charles Joseph and Margaret Lucille Bell Fuller. He grew up in the East Bay and went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force as a jet mechanic where he reached the rank of Staff Sargent. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth 'Sue' Fuller, and enjoyed 36 years of marriage and 40 years as a couple. After the military, Lawrence followed his passion for law enforcement. He served his community as the Alameda County Sheriff for 28 years. When Lawrence was off duty, he was often found coaching soccer to youth in Livermore, CA. This was something he enjoyed for many years. He was a member of the Rod & Gun Club of Livermore, and trapshooting. One year he was first in trapshooting with the ACSO. His hobbies included time on the motorcycle, RV travelling, fishing, golfing, birds, cats, and dogs. Lawrence is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth 'Sue' Fuller; his two sons Shayne (Amy) Fuller of Meridian, ID and Brandon Lawrence (Gina Morilla) Fuller of Meridian, ID; grandchildren Daniel (Stephanie) Hardin, Alexis (Jason) Marsh-Pederson of California, Garrett Fuller of Washington, Zachery, Noah and Kyle Fuller of Idaho; and great grandson Brodie Marsh-Pederson of California Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Charles Fuller; and his brother Charles J. "Skipper" Fuller Jr. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of his life on Friday, February 3 at 1:00 pm, at the Post 18 American Legion, 1504 2nd St S, Nampa, ID 83651. There will be another Celebration of life in California announced at a later time.
