Lorma Jane Wymer

Lorma Jane Dolan “Wymer” 70, passed away early Monday morning; March 30th 2020 at her home in Nampa, Idaho.   

 She was born to Jim and Lillie Dolan on December 12th, 1949 in Sunnyside, Washington.  The 3rd oldest of seven children, friends that knew her called her Lori.  She was raised in Boise, Idaho and attended Franklin Elementary, South Jr High, Capital and Borah High Schools. As a child and young teenager Lori attended the Salvation Army Church.

In school Lori learned to play the Viola and their mother taught her to play the piano. She was also in choir and sang first soprano.  She came from a musical family – Dad played the drums and mother played the piano. She spent many happy hours growing up at the piano playing and singing duets with her kid sister Irene.

Lori raised 3 wonderful boys: Anthony Dolan, Mark Dolan, and Mathew Wisdom.  She met her soul mate Jim Wymer through her best friend Jackie Wymer, Jim’s twin sister.  They were married March 22, 1986.  Jim was already a father of 3 boys; Jason, Tim, and Chris.  Together they raised their 6 boys. 

In her earlier years she worked as a nurse’s aide for the Sunset Nursing Home, she worked as a cook, and later on owned her own care giving business in Rathdrum, Idaho. 

Lori loved her children, the mountains, the ocean, Lilacs and the color purple.  She was quick witted and loved to kid around.  In her retirement years she enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, and playing cards.  She spent many hours on the computer playing the gambling games for fun.

Lori is survived by her husband Jim Wymer, 3 sons:  Anthony of Missouri, Mark of Nampa, ID and Mathew of Boise, ID., her step-sons: Chris and Tim Wymer;  9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; her two sisters:  Irene Repp (Buff) and Louise Rhodes (Joe); 3 brothers: Lloyd Dolan (Janet); Glenn, and Jimmy, numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father Jim, her mother Lillie, her oldest sister Florence, and step son Jason Wymer.

Pallbearers:  Mark Dolan, Mathew Wisdom, Chris Wymer, Tim Wymer, Craig Mimmett, Cody Repp, Isaac Dolan, and Jim Dolan.
