Louis Franklin Pratt
September 20, 1939 ~ January 28, 2024 (age 84) 84 Years Old
Louis Franklin Pratt passed away January 28th 2024 in his home, surrounded by ones that cared for and loved him.
He was born on September 20th, 1939, in Ontario, Oregon. His parents were Louis Gorhan Pratt and Amalia Alida Pratt. They, along with his sister Anita, farmed 80 acres in Adrian, Oregon.
Louis graduated from Adrian high school in 1957, and Oregon state university in 1961 where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in agriculture.
Louis was very outgoing, and people described him as a hardworking, kind, and fun individual to be around. He enjoyed also a variety of things such as travel, vintage Buicks, aviation, firearms, and machine work. If there was something he needed or wanted to build, he could always figure out a way to make something to his liking.
Amongst his many projects, he restored a WWII BT-13 airplane from the ground up with his own hands and labor. He flew far and wide to many places and shows, where he won many awards for his work.
Above all, Louis was a beloved and unselfish family man who provided unwavering support and care for them.
He is survived by his wife, Cora Pratt, and his son Joshua Pratt.
