Mary Leona Tombaugh

Mary Leona Behner Tombaugh was born April 25, 1926 in Halfway, OR, to Velma and Howard Behner.  Mary and her parents moved to Homedale, ID when Mary was about two years old. Mary graduated from NNC’s High School (Nampa) in 1944 and attended NNC (Nampa) for one year. Mary worked as a telephone operator, she was a secretary at Mueller’s Dairy, and she worked in the registrar’s office (NNC) and at NNC’s Library until 1996, when she retired. Mary enjoyed her retirement very much. 

Mary liked to read, flower gardening, music, and animals etc.  Mary Married Earl C. Tombaugh on April 17, 1951. Earl passed away September 29, 1962.

Mary is survived by a son, Stephen Tombaugh; a daughter, Stephanie Tombaugh; and various cousins, nieces and nephews.
