Melissa Dawn Hale, age 40, died in Nampa, ID, on Thursday, December 28, 2017. She was born on May 13, 1977 in Exeter, California.  She worked at Shari’s as a waitress until her death.  Her family was the most important thing in her life and if you were her friend you were her family.

Melissa’s surviving family while too huge to list (you know who you are) her immediate family is her Mom Julie, Dad Casey, Brother Jeremy, Sister Bridgette, her niece and nephew whom she adored, Feliz and Eddy, her grandparents Fred and Trudy Hale, her father Ron Boswell, Grandma Patricia Fry, Grandpa Herb Boswell and her boyfriend Chris Marshall.

Melissa’s light shown so bright in all our lives that to know her, was to love her.  She was such a joy and so much fun to be around, she was such a good friend to everyone, always lending an ear, a shoulder to lean on, and the best hugs you could ever get!!

Melissa had such a big heart; if you were in need she always had an open door.  Melissa had personality for days, she was always entertaining.  She had the most amazing smile and contagious laughter; you knew Melissa was in the room just by her laugh!  Melissa truly was that once in a lifetime kind of human and oh man did she radiate.

Melissa loved camping with her family and loved singing karaoke.  She was the ultimate pool and dartboard shark!  No matter what she was doing, Melissa was spectacular in everything she did, she wasn’t a stranger to anyone and she was everyone’s best friend, especially her mom.  Melissa wouldn’t want us to cry over her when we remember her, I know easier said than done right now, but down the road when you remember her, don’t cry, remember her love, her laughter, the good times you always had with her, remember her smile, her contagious smile and look back and laugh at the amazing memories we all got to have with her.  We were all truly blessed and honored for the gift that it was to be a part of Melissa’s life.  You always said how lucky we were that we were all friends, it was us babe, who were the lucky ones.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Avenue South, Nampa, Idaho 83651 with a reception to immediately follow at Sovereign Grace Fellowship, 1311 6th Street South, Nampa, Idaho 83651.
