Tribute

Wendell Paul Libengood was Born October 12, 1942, to Regina and Paul Libengood.  He lived in Nebraska until he moved to Idaho in 1960.  He was a truck driver, driving everything from Pepsi trucks, gravel and  asphalt trucks, to cattle trucks.  You name it he could drive it.  But his true love was farming.  He grew up helping his father and grandfather farm and he loved it.  He lived to be on a tractor.  There weren’t very many years that he didn’t own a tractor.  Even after loosing his leg he figured out a way to be on his tractors. (Thanks to Aaron and a little welding).  His greatest joy came when he could share that love with others.  He loved giving people rides in his wagons, pulling kids on inter tubes in the snow behind his tractor, or giving the little ones rides on his train cars he built for his tractors.   He was never afraid of hard work or working long hours.  He lived to be outside and busy.  He could talk to anyone and loved telling stories from his past.

He is survived by his 4 children, Debbie (Brian) Hamilton, Polly (Brad) Hurd, Chris (Robert) Demaray, Robb (Tammi) Libengood.  His 8 brothers and sisters, Jim (Mary) Libengood, Diane Roeber, Bob (JoAnne) Libengood, Linda (John) Graham, Connie Bean, Aaron(Jacki) Libengood, Mary (Mark) Kroll, Lesa (George) Porter. Along with 14 grand children, and 12 great grand children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
