Lela Ethel (Gray) Buckley, 108, Nampa, Idaho passed away at her home on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Lela was born to Charles Wesley and Dora Alice (Drain) Gray on June 25, 1908 in Clearmont, Missouri.
She moved with her family in 1914 to Kuna, ID and moved to Nampa in 1920. In December 1928 she went to work for Mountain State Tel-Tel Company and quit in 1934. During the war she went back to work for Pacific Tel-Tel Company in Redwood, California and retired in 1968 and moved back to Idaho. She married William Buckley in Carson City, Nevada on September 9, 1957.
She was preceded in death by her husband and seven brothers, Earl, John, Dee, Frank, Virgil, Valdo and Lloyd.
Survivors include her sister Ida Kay Gandee of Nampa and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Graveside memorial service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Kohlerlawn Cemetery under the direction of Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel.
